There were lots of roles within the creation of my film as I asked for outer help on the creation of my music video. The main role within the music video is the composer. I used my friend Graham Woolley's Track of "Mary" which was from his second album. He was my main client for the piece and we talked regularly via email about how he felt about the project.
Throughout the production I took on the role of director, camera operator and editor. Within this role I had to organise travel, production scheduling, camera shots and the final narrative of the film. Throughout this I had to on set direct the actors and take into account lighting and the composition of shots.
I asked Danielle Paige to be the lighting spark for the party scene in which we see our leading male, George kissing another girl. In this scene I wanted a lot of mood lighting and because there was no accessible nightclub I could use I used a studio in Bradford College. this meant that the camera work and the lighting had to be done skilfully to ensure it looked more like a bar.
Abigail Chilton portrayed the role of Mary, the leading lady of the film, within this role she had to play the character that the audience falls in love with, and this in turn helps the audience feel the same as George in the final sequence.
Steve Normandale portrayed the role of George who is the leading male and in this role we see him have to look back on his life and his memories and the audience realise that he had lost the girl he loves.
Sophia Kelly portrays Jessica, a friend of both Mary and George who decides that at a party to kiss George, which ends in Mary seeing the kiss take place.
